Getting Started with MyShiftSheet
This guide walks you through setting up agencies, adding your details, logging shifts, and exporting your security shift sheets.
-
Create your account
Sign up or sign in to access your dashboard.
-
Add your first agency (company)
Agencies (companies) help you organise shifts and totals. You can add more later.
-
Complete your profile
Add your name, phone, and SIA/licence number. We also link or create your Worker profile so exports show your details.
-
Add a bank account for payouts
Store your payout details and mark one as default. Exports can include your bank details.
-
Log your first shift
Enter date, start/end, site (project), and an optional rate override. Overnight shifts are handled automatically.
-
See your monthly overview
Your dashboard shows hours and payout totals. Use the month/company filters to review shifts.
-
Export security shift sheets
From a company month view, export your timesheet to Excel (or other formats as provided). If you have multiple bank accounts, choose which to include.
Tip: The app picks your default bank automatically. You can also pass
?bank_id=<id>in the URL to export using a specific bank. -
Set default rates per agency (optional)
If your agencies pay different rates, set a default rate per agency. When you log a shift, we use the per‑agency rate unless you enter a per‑shift override.
How it works technically: we look up a UserAgencyRate for your user and company; otherwise, we fall back to the linked Worker’s hourly_rate if present.
-
Privacy and rota/roster terms
Your data is private to your account. “Shift rota”, “roster”, or “roaster” all refer to your planned schedule — the app supports your preferred term while keeping records clear.
